First remove your battery, and remove the 2 phillips head screws holding the lower battery mount in place. And pull the mount out of the frame.
To make access easier, you can remove the charging port by pushing on the top tab with a screwdriver, and tapping it out of the frame.
Disconnect the motor connector by pulling it apart, this is the largest connector.
Slide the motor cable out of the frame.
Remove the right crank arm (and optionally left if needed), using an 8MM allen key and a crank arm puller tool.
Remove the seal covering the sprocket carrier bolt by tapping a flat blade screwdriver in the 2 slots on either side and prying the seal up and out.
Remove the sprocket carrier bolt using a Park Tool BBT-22 or similar tool, this is a reverse thread (turn clockwise to loosen). And pull the sprocket and carrier assembly off of the motor.
Remove the 6 bolts holding the mounting plate in place, and remove the plate.
Loosen the 2 bolts on the back of the motor mounting shell, about 5 turns.
Slide the motor out of the frame. If it’s sticky you can use a piece of wood to tap against the right side with a mallet.
