This page contains info for using a ‘Standard’ 4808 Satiator Model with your Optibike.

Making your own connectors and adapters can result in damaging the connector or battery if the polarity is not correct, use a multimeter to check your polarity and connections before using them.

Using a charge voltage or current setting that’s too high can also result in damage or reduced lifespan, make sure to double check with the info below, and if you’re not 100% sure which type of battery you have get in touch with us here.

Satiator Side: Neutrik NC3FX XLR Connector

We recommend using 14 or 16 AWG wire for charging.

52V Optibike Models

Including: R15C, R17

Charge Connector: Connxall 3182-3PG-3DC
Satiator XLR Pin 1 to Connxall Pin 1 (Pin 1 has small dot marking on connector)
Satiator XLR Pin 2 to Connxall Pin 2
Pin 3 on both sides is N/C

  • Full volts: 58.7V
  • Bulk amps: Up to 8A
  • Complete A: 0.4A
  • Trickl start: 21V
  • Trickl end: 37.8V
  • Trickl amps: 0.2A

If you would like to charge your bike to a lower voltage to extend battery longevity you can change the “Full volts” parameter to a lower value:

  • 80% Charge: 56V
  • 50% Storage: 52.5V

48V Optibike Models

Including: R15, R11, 1100R

Charge Connector: Connxall 3182-3PG-3DC
Satiator XLR Pin 1 to Connxall Pin 1 (Pin 1 has small dot marking on connector)
Satiator XLR Pin 2 to Connxall Pin 2
Pin 3 on both sides is N/C

  • Full volts: 54.5V
  • Bulk amps: Up to 8A
  • Complete A: 0.4A
  • Trickl start: 19.5V
  • Trickl end: 35.1V
  • Trickl amps: 0.2A

If you would like to charge your bike to a lower voltage to extend battery longevity you can change the “Full volts” parameter to a lower value:

  • 80% Charge: 52V
  • 50% Storage: 48.8V

37V Optibike Models

Including: R8C, R8, R8HD, 800XLi, Helia, 850, 850R, 850XLi, M7

Charge Connector: Connxall 3182-3PG-3DC
Satiator XLR Pin 1 to Connxall Pin 1 (Pin 1 has small dot marking on connector)
Satiator XLR Pin 2 to Connxall Pin 2
Pin 3 on both sides is N/C

  • Full volts: 41.9V
  • Bulk amps: Up to 8A
  • Complete A: 0.4A
  • Trickl start: 15V
  • Trickl end: 27V
  • Trickl amps: 0.2A

If you would like to charge your bike to a lower voltage to extend battery longevity you can change the “Full volts” parameter to a lower value:

  • 80% Charge: 40V
  • 50% Storage: 37.5V

37V Optibike Models with Lower Current Charging

Including: Essex, Pioneer Allroad, RMC, Pioneer City
Make sure you don’t exceed 4A charge current on these models

  • Bulk amps: Up to 4A
